On behalf of the planning department of the City of Grünstadt Culturebridge Architects worked out a concept for the reuse of the Leininger Oberhof, a three-wing castle with a magnificent Baroque porch (built 1716), and for the functional and spatial integration in the development of the nearby city center.

The concept raises proposals for gentle constructive changes, in order to create attractive und multifunctional spaces. In coordination with the Monument Preservation the character of the historic building is worked out and a contemporary place for culture and society evolves.

In three different sizes a scenario is presented for an enhancement of the courtyard towards a year-round usable urban space for sojourn, meeting and event in historic environment.
